Springtime At Coarsegold Creek

Coarsegold Creek is the separating feature between the Gold Gulch Museum and the Broken Bit.  It is a seasonal creek that dries up during the summer, but, water or not, it represents the transition from the modern world into the old West.

Gold Gulch Mill and Water Wheel

One of the first things that draws a person's eye upon arrival is our magnificent wind mill.  Reaching 20' into the air, it stands as a lonely beacon to remind us of what was before.  Not only that, but it looks cool, too.

Coarsegold Lumber Mill

The Coarsegold Lumber Co. never really existed, but it does here.  We use this representation of a lumber mill to help people understand the history of the California Gold Rush.
